JOB OVERVIEW
The primary responsibility of the Estimator/Project Manager (PM) is to prepare accurate cost estimates for project proposals and supervise assigned projects. This includes detailed analysis of project plans, scope, and specifications; developing and maintaining client relationships; understanding contract terms; completing material takeoffs; production planning; managing the budget; and ensuring project deadlines are met.
The Estimator/PM is the main point of contact for the project – from bidding to completion. The Estimator/PM understands the importance of collaborating with multiple professionals to ensure estimate accuracy and project completion based on the scope of work, budget, and agreed upon schedule.
